What a mint alert looks like
Each alert is one Telegram message from the Alerts on Chain bot. The bold first line says what happened, which is also what your phone shows in the notification preview. The next line names the contract you watch and the rule that fired, and the last line links to the transaction on Etherscan.
Collections the bot recognises are named in the headline. For any other collection the alert shows the token id and the receiving address, shortened to its first and last characters, and the Etherscan link takes you to the full details.

How mint detection works
NFT contracts don't emit a separate "mint" event. A mint is a transfer that comes from the zero address: ERC-721 collections emit Transfer with from set to 0x0000…0000, and ERC-1155 collections emit TransferSingle or TransferBatch with the same from. Burns are the mirror image, a transfer to the zero address.
The NFT mints template sets this up for you. It creates three rules on the collection's contract, named "NFT mints (ERC-721)", "NFT mints (ERC-1155)" and "NFT batch mints (ERC-1155)", each with the condition from is 0x0000…0000. A collection only uses one standard, so the rules for the other one simply never fire. You can delete them to keep things tidy.

Find the collection's contract address
The source of a mint alert is the NFT contract itself: the address that holds the tokens and emits the transfers. Copy it from one of these places and check it against a second one, because copycat collections often reuse a popular project's name.
- On a marketplace collection page (OpenSea, for example), open the details or "About" panel and follow the contract address link. It opens the contract on Etherscan.
- On Etherscan, search for the collection name and open its token tracker page. The contract address sits at the top, next to the copy button.
- From a mint you already know about: open the transaction on Etherscan and look at the "ERC-721 Tokens Transferred" (or ERC-1155) section. The token link points to the NFT contract.
- From the project itself: official sites and announcement channels usually publish the address shortly before a mint.
Several mints in one transaction
Many mints create several tokens in a single transaction. Alerts on Chain sends one message per transaction per rule, so a wallet that mints three tokens at once gives you one alert that leads with the count and lists each token on its own line, instead of three separate pings.

Tips for useful mint alerts
A few small choices make mint alerts much easier to act on, especially when you follow more than one collection.
- Name the rule after the collection, such as "Azuki mints". The rule name is printed on every alert, so you can tell collections apart at a glance.
- Send alerts to a Telegram group. Connect another Telegram chat on the Channels tab, add the bot to the group, send /start there and paste the code. Each rule can then go to the group, to your private chat, or both.
- Narrow mints to the wallets you care about with a second condition:
tois one of a list of addresses only alerts when those wallets receive a fresh mint. - Want burns too? Add a rule on the same contract with the condition
tois0x0000…0000. The NFT activity template is a good starting point if you want every transfer. - Set the rule up before the mint opens. As soon as the contract is deployed you have an address to watch, and nothing is missed while you look for it.
Limits to know
Mint alerts are deliberately simple today. These are the edges worth knowing before a big drop.
- Ethereum mainnet only. More networks are planned, but none is live yet.
- Telegram is the only live channel. Discord, Slack, email and webhooks are coming.
- The alert has no mint price, sale price or floor price. Prices, floor prices and rarity are coming with Premium; the Etherscan link shows what was paid.
- Alerts arrive within seconds of the transaction being confirmed. Pending (mempool) transactions are not alerted.
- Every transaction the rule sees on the contract counts as one event, even when its conditions skip it. A popular open-edition mint can produce thousands of transactions, which is far more than the Beta plan's 100 events a month; when events run out, alerts pause until the period resets.
- A rule watches one contract. Alerts for every new collection on the chain are a Premium idea, not a live feature.
Set it up step by step
From sign-in to your first alert, in the actual dashboard.
- 1Sign in at alertsonchain.com with Google or with your wallet. A wallet sign-in is a signed message, not a transaction, so it costs no gas.
- 2Open the Channels tab and connect Telegram: start a chat with @alertsonchain_com_bot, send /start, and paste the 8-character code it replies with.
- 3Open the NFT mints template, from the button on this page or from the template gallery on the Rules tab.
- 4Leave the network on Ethereum and paste the collection's contract address as the source.
- 5Check the three prefilled mint rules, delete the ones for the standard the collection doesn't use, and pick the Telegram chat each rule sends to.
- Click Create rule. The rule is active straight away, and the next matching transaction sends a Telegram message.
Frequently asked questions
Do NFT mint alerts work for ERC-1155 collections?
Yes. The NFT mints template covers ERC-721 Transfer and ERC-1155 TransferSingle and TransferBatch, each filtered to transfers from the zero address.
Will I get an alert before the mint transaction confirms?
No. Alerts are sent within seconds of the transaction being confirmed on Ethereum mainnet. Pending transactions in the mempool are not watched.
Does the mint alert show the mint price?
Not yet. Alerts don't include prices, floor prices or USD values; those are coming with Premium. The Etherscan link in each alert shows exactly what the minter paid.
How many events does a mint alert use?
An event is one transaction seen on one watched address. It counts once, whether it matches none, one or several of your rules and however many channels it fans out to. An alert is sent only when a rule matches.
