Smart contract alerts · Ethereum

Smart contract alerts for method calls and events

Smart contract alerts watch one contract and send a Telegram message when something you name happens on it: a method call such as pause, upgradeTo or transferOwnership, a specific event, or every event it emits. Pick the event from the standard catalog (well-known contracts list their own events), or paste the method or event signature, and add conditions on arguments by name, the caller, the ETH value or the transaction status.

What you can track

Method calls
Direct calls to a function you name by its signature, or to any method at all.
Specific events
Pick from the standard catalog or the contract's own events, indexed or not.
Everything on a contract
Every log the contract emits, with no event to pick. Included in every plan.
Conditions by name
Compare any argument by name, plus the caller (tx.from), the ETH value and the status.
Caller allow-lists
Alert when anyone outside your known addresses calls the contract.
Readable alerts
Decoded calls and events in plain words, with the arguments listed under the headline.
Templates

Start an alert

Each template opens the add form with the rule filled in. Open one to pick a predefined address, or use your own.

How it works

One rule, from the address to the alert

Three steps: the address to watch, the rule that filters it, and the message you get.

  1. 01

Paste the contract address. Watching is read-only.

    0x87b1…4e2a

    Source
  2. 02

    Admin method called

Keep the template's rule, or narrow it with a condition.

    pause()
    Rule
  3. 03

    Get the alert

Save. Each match arrives in Telegram within seconds of confirmation.

What alerts include today

The limits, stated plainly. Anything marked coming soon is not live yet.

Direct calls only
Method rules see calls made directly to the contract. Calls routed through Safes, routers, multicall or smart accounts are coming soon with Premium.
Custom methods and events need a signature
Standard events are picked from the catalog. For a method, or an event outside it, paste the signature with parameter names.
Busy addresses use more events
An event is one transaction seen on one watched address. It counts once, whether it matches none, one or several of your rules and however many channels it fans out to. An alert is sent only when a rule matches. Everything on a contract matches every log, so the dashboard estimates the monthly volume before you save.
Ethereum mainnet only
Alerts cover Ethereum mainnet today. More networks are coming soon.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I get alerts on specific method calls?

Yes. Paste the function's signature (or pick any method) and add conditions on its arguments, the caller, the ETH value and whether the call succeeded. Calls made directly to the contract are covered; calls routed through other contracts (Safes, routers, multicall) are coming soon with Premium.

Can I watch every event a contract emits?

Yes. The Everything on a contract template matches every log the contract emits, with no event to pick, and it is included in every plan. Each transaction seen on the contract counts toward your monthly events like any other rule, so the dashboard shows an estimated monthly volume before you save.

Does it work with proxy contracts?

Yes. Watch the proxy address, which is where the events are emitted, and pick the event from the catalog or paste the method or event signature.

Are alerts scoped to my contract?

Always. Rules only match the contract address you paste, so you never receive chain-wide noise from unrelated contracts.

What counts toward my monthly events?

An event is one transaction seen on one watched address. It counts once, whether it matches none, one or several of your rules and however many channels it fans out to. An alert is sent only when a rule matches. A busy contract therefore uses more events than a quiet one.
