Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

1.1 Account Information

The wallet address you sign in with, and an email address if you give us one. You sign in by signing a message with your wallet: it proves the address is yours and moves no funds. We never receive or store private keys or seed phrases.

1.2 Usage Data

IP address, device type, browser, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on site.

1.3 Alert & Configuration Data

The blockchain addresses and contracts you monitor, the alert rules you create, the alerts we have sent you, and your notification preferences.

1.4 Telegram Data

When you connect Telegram we store your Telegram chat id, and your username if your account has one, so we know where to deliver your alerts. Telegram receives the content of every alert we send you.

1.5 Billing Data

If you take a paid plan, we store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan and its limits, and your usage against those limits. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages — we never see or store them.

1.6 Cookies & Tracking

Used for analytics and performance (see Cookie Policy). If you accept analytics cookies, we also store the marketing source of your signup with your account: the campaign tags of the link you arrived from and the referring site's domain (never the full address of the page).

2. How We Use Data

  • Provide and maintain the alert system.
  • Send notifications and system updates.
  • Improve the product (usage analytics, errors, performance).
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, and misuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • We do not sell or share data with advertisers.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

  • Contractual necessity: providing alerts and running the Service.
  • Legitimate interests: improving features and analytics.
  • Consent: cookies and communication preferences.

4. Third-Party Providers

We use the following services to run Alerts on Chain. Each processes only what it needs to do its job:

  • Vercel — hosting for the website and its API.
  • Google Cloud (Firestore, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub) — storing your account and rules, and running the workers that watch the chain.
  • Upstash (Redis) — caching and usage counters.
  • Alchemy — blockchain data and the webhooks that tell us an address or contract was active.
  • Telegram — delivering your alerts. Telegram receives the alert content and your chat id.
  • Stripe — payments and subscriptions, for paid plans only. Stripe handles card details directly.
  • Sentry — error monitoring.
  • Umami — privacy-friendly, aggregated website analytics.

5. Data Retention

  • Account, monitors and alert rules: kept while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days of you deleting your account.
  • Alert history: kept for 90 days, then deleted.
  • Usage and billing records: kept for the current billing period and 12 months after it. Invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires (5 years in Poland).
  • Error logs (Sentry) and server logs: kept for up to 90 days.
  • Website analytics (Umami): aggregated, and not tied to your account.
  • Backups: a deleted record can survive in an encrypted backup for up to 14 days before the backup itself expires.
  • Data may be retained longer where a law requires it, or while a dispute is being resolved.

6. Your Rights

  • Request access to your data.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Export your data.
  • Withdraw consent for cookies.
  • Close your account at any time.

7. Where Your Data Is Processed

We are based in Poland and store your account data in the European Union. Some of the providers listed in section 4 — among them Stripe, Sentry and Telegram — process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or on an adequacy decision.

8. Security

We use encryption, secure hosting, and best practices to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard all stored information.

9. Children

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under age 18.

10. Policy Updates

When updated, the new Privacy Policy will be posted on this page.
