Smart Contract Event Alerts

Smart contract event alerts send a Telegram message each time a contract writes an event log you chose. Pick the event from the standard catalog or the contract's own list, or paste its signature, and add conditions on its arguments by name, indexed or not. The alert decodes the event into plain words, such as "Ownership moved from 0x3f5c…e0b7 to 0x9f2c…9a71", and lists the remaining arguments underneath.

Ways people use it

Admin events
OwnershipTransferred and Upgraded are rare and worth reading the moment they happen.
Your protocol's own events
Paste the signature of an event your contract emits and filter on its arguments.
Everything, then narrow it
Start with every event to see what a contract logs, then keep the ones that matter.

Frequently asked questions

Should I watch an event or a function call?

An event if the contract emits one for the action: events are logged however the call reached the contract, including through a Safe or a router. A function call alert covers actions with no event, but only direct calls.

What if my contract's event isn't in the catalog?

Paste its signature with parameter names, such as Paused(address account). The contract's Etherscan page lists its events. Conditions can then name those parameters.

Are anonymous events included?

Yes. A rule on every event matches each log the contract emits, anonymous ones included. To filter on arguments, pick a specific event instead.

What counts toward my monthly events?

An event is one transaction seen on one watched address. It counts once, whether it matches none, one or several of your rules and however many channels it fans out to. An alert is sent only when a rule matches.
