Why set it up

Why people watch it

Subscriptions, as they settle
A mint is new OUSG issued to an investor: fresh money in the fund.
Redemptions too
A burn is OUSG handed back and taken out of circulation.
Ondo's own contract
The rule reads the OUSG token Ondo lists in its docs, never a copy.
Explained

How OUSG is minted and burned

OUSG is a standard upgradeable ERC-20 from Ondo's open-source contracts. A mint logs a Transfer from the zero address to the investor, and a burn a Transfer from the holder to the zero address. The ready-made rule listens for exactly those two, so ordinary transfers never reach you.

Investors subscribe and redeem with USDC through Ondo's own contracts or custodian. The alert is the token side of it: the OUSG issued or burned.

Explained

Large OUSG transfers

OUSG can only move between onboarded investors. The second rule sends an alert for every transfer of 10,000 OUSG or more; change the minimum in the form if you like.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where does the data come from?

Every alert comes from the token contract's own event on Ethereum mainnet, read within seconds of confirmation, with a link to the transaction on Etherscan.

Can I get alerts only for large mints?

Yes. Open the mint & redemption rule and add a condition on the amount, for example 50,000 OUSG.

Can I set this alert for free?

Yes. The free Beta plan covers one contract and needs no card, so any one of these rules fits in it.

Do the alerts show prices or USD values?

No. Amounts are in token units, as the contract records them. Alerts carry no USD value and no price.

Is Alerts on Chain affiliated with Ondo?

No. Alerts on Chain is not affiliated with Ondo Finance. The rules read public on-chain data from the contract Ondo Finance publishes.

Does it cover other chains?

Ethereum mainnet only. Some of these tokens also live on other chains, each with its own contract; the rules here cover the Ethereum contract.
