Whale Alerts: Large Token Transfers
Whale alerts watch one ERC-20 token and send a Telegram message only when a transfer is at or above a minimum, set in the token's own units. The Whale transfers template comes with a minimum for the popular tokens: 1,000,000 USDT, 1,000,000 USDC, 1,000,000 DAI, 500 WETH, 500 stETH, 20 WBTC and 10,000,000,000 PEPE. Each alert has the shape of any token transfer alert ("250,000 USDT moved from 0x3f5c…e0b7 to 0x9f2c…9a71"): the amount, the sender, the recipient and a link to the transaction.

Frequently asked questions
Who decides what counts as a whale transfer?
You do. The Whale transfers template starts from a minimum per popular token, such as 1,000,000 USDC or 20 WBTC, and you can change the amount on the rule. For other tokens, set your own minimum on a Token transfers rule.
Why is the minimum in tokens and not in dollars?
Alerts carry no prices yet, so amounts are compared in the token's own units. USD values and USD thresholds are coming with Premium.
Can one rule cover large transfers of every token?
No. A rule watches one token contract, so add one rule per token. Large movements across the whole chain, not tied to one address, are coming with Premium.
How many events does a rule on a busy token use?
An event is one transaction seen on one watched address. It counts once, whether it matches none, one or several of your rules and however many channels it fans out to. An alert is sent only when a rule matches. A rule on USDT sees every USDT transaction, so the minimum keeps your chat quiet but doesn't lower what is counted. The dashboard estimates the volume before you save.
